AI-Chipset System Architect

As part of OPENCHIP & SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGIES System Architecture group, you will design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient, system-on-chip (SoC) AI accelerators. The target product is a series of AI-specific system designed to deliver low power consumption and high-performance chips providing efficiency in machine learning and deep learning applications. These chips are used in various industries, including HPC, security, manufacturing, mobility, automotive, among others. Aa a System Architecture team member, you are responsible to define new AI accelerator architectures with innovative approaches to improve performance/power/area metric and flexibility for a wide range of AI applications. The role requires the analysis of existing and new emerging AI algorithms to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for innovation. In order to assess the feasibility of ideas and refine them, you also need to be experienced in various areas as RISC-V architecture, RTL, RTOS, and compiler. You will write architecture specifications for highly configurable chips and drive architectural modelling to validate innovative ideas in SoC architecture to grow our IP portfolio. Experience in hardware design projects in architectural or micro-architectural level with strong understanding of high-performance systems, parallel processing, data arithmetic and AI. Experience in NPU, GPU, and micro-processor development; especially many-core and multi-chip systems. Experience in PPA (power/performance/area) optimizations. Familiar with hardware description languages – SystemVerilog, Verilog. (Deep knowledge and expertise in RISC V processor and system architecture. Deep understanding of SoC design flow (e.g., Specification, Architecture, RTL coding, Verification, DFT, Synthesis, Power and Timing analysis, floor planning). Background in physical design, knowledge of advanced process technology is a plus. Programming skills in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python.Experience with ML frameworks (Tensorflow, PyTorch, TVM, and so on). Experience in architecture exploration tool development. Understanding of compiler development is a plus.
